Why is Sun Called as Fire Globe?

Sun

Sun

When we see the fire on the earth, it will be thicker at the bottom and becomes thin as it reaches the top. When the same fire is present in the sky, it glows in the shape of sphere. The main reason for the round shape is known only when people know the processes which take place when the fire burns. When the oxygen burns with high temperature material which is present in the air, then the energy is released in the form of fire. Air is required for the burning of any substance and so the burning process also takes place in the inner layers of the fire as there will be air present in that layer. Inner layers of the fire are empty as the gases which are formed due to burning process are evaporated. If the burning process is not done properly, black colored gases are released. As the gases in the surroundings move upwards due to light weight, fire seems like extending. As there won’t be gravitational force in the space, gases around the fire won’t escape and they will form as sphere. So the shape of the sun is round.
