Seshachalam Bio-diversity Forests | Many Varieties of Plants, Animals Found In Seshachalam Forests
Recently, the Seshachalam hills in Eastern Ghats located in Kadapa and Chittoor are declared as bio-diversity reserve forests. These forests which are extended 4,775 square kilometers are covered with hills, waterfalls and lands. People can see many varieties of trees in these forests and they are the home of many plants like sandal and other herbs which are getting extinct. Reserved forests are very important in Andhra Pradesh as the agriculture and globalization are reducing the forests. These are important for protection and enhanced management of villages around the forests.
