Viscosity and surface tension of liquids play a vital role in drinking them with straw

DrinkThruStraw Usage of straws had increased in the present world and people are drinking soft drinks, juices and other liquid food with straws. Straw can’t be used to drink honey. There are three types of matter and they are in gaseous, liquid and solid forms. Only liquids are having the surface tension and viscosity properties. We are able to drink coconut water, soft drinks and juices with straw as the heterogeneous weights between the atoms of straw and liquids are less. Thick liquids like honey and castor oil contain more amounts of heterogeneous weights and viscosity is also more. So straw can’t be used to drink these liquids.
