Does Tipu Sultan Know Rocket Technology?

Everyone knew that satellites are sent into the space for various research purposes and uses. These satellites are sent into the space with the help of rockets. India is the country which used the Rocket technology in the 18tth century itself. Tipu Sultan used the rockets over Britain military and there is a rocket department in the Tipu Sultan Kingdom. They had constructed the rockets after doing the research on its size and the distance it could travel. Tipu Sultan kept the Rocket department as secret even though it was developed and encouraged. No one knows about the rocket department which was developed by Tipu Sultan until he died in 1797 in the war which was fought in Karnataka. Rockets which were made at the age of Tipu Sultan were of two kilos in weight, 5 centimeters in width and 25cm in length. They used to use gun powder as fuel for the rockets and they used to kill the enemies who were more than o1 ½ kilometers away. Historians are having the opinion that there are rocket launch pads at Mysore. Rockets which were used by British people used to reach only one kilometer of distance at that age. British people used to prepare powerful rockets by taking the rockets which were used in the Mysore war to England.
