Siberian cranes migrate to India in winter| Siberian cranes facing danger of extinction

Siberian cranesEvery year in the winter season, Siberian cranes come to Keoladeo Ghana National Park, Bharatpur in India as a part of their migration. These cranes travel 4000 miles all the way from Siberia to reach this place in India.

Siberian cranes are becoming very rare sight for the last two or three years in India. Deforestation and Water pollution are mainly responsible for it. Siberian cranes are now facing the threat of extinction.

Presently very few thousands of Siberian cranes are there all over the world. They may extinct soon in case of any obstructions to their migratory habits. Now they are facing the danger of extinction. They are decreasing in number day by day. It is very much essential for the balancing of environment to protect such rare species of birds and to save the diversity in living organisms.
