Reason for the emission of light from fire fly | Fire flies are mostly seen in tropical regions
Firefly is the insect which is mostly seen in tropical regions. They emit light from the larva stage itself and after growing, they use this light as signals for various purposes. The light emitted by firefly is the combination of green and yellow colors. Their body is different which emit various lights and they call the parts as bioluminescent in biology. Luciferase enzyme takes place in oxidation and energy is emitted as light.
