Does Life Of Earth Originated From Mars? |MIT Research with SETG
Does life of earth originated from Mars? Scientists of Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) are developing a new device to find answer for this question. They are conducting research with the help of an instrument called ‘Search for Extra Terrestrial Genomes (SETG)’. The SETG which is going to be completed in two years is sent to the Mars planet to collect mud samples. From that mud samples, the scientists are planning to examine the micro organisms. The scientists even decided to take up the examinations like DNA and RNA for organisms in the mud which comes from the mars planet. For this process the scientists are using chemical markers. MIT stated that, though this process is very long and time taking, they are going to come to a conclusion that whether there is any connection between the life that existed in the mars and to the life on the earth. On the other hand, it is also said that the point of whether the life has gone to the mars from the earth can also be determined.
