Japan is the seventh largest country in population | Specialties, Facts and highlights of Japan
In Japan, people believe that two deities named Izanagi and Izanami are sent by god to earth. They landed on a river and there is a sulam which is decorated with ornaments. When they take this sulam out of the river, two drops fall in the river and land is formed in that area where water had fallen. Izanami and Izanagi live together on this land and they are having 8 children. Their 8 children also changed as islands and so the country formed is called as Japan. This is an ancient story which is believed by Japanese.
