How to use Google search to get accurate and desired results? More Google advanced refined searches tips
In the present world everyone uses the Google search engine to clarify their doubts. They waste a lot of time by searching the wanted information. Here are some tips to make the search faster and find the answer easily.
- When you are searching for an information write the search words in double quotes. For example, you need information about filmmaking, and then write it as “filmmaking” and search.
- If you want to search a particular topic in any field, then you should insert a minus sign in between. For example if direction field is to be searched, then we need to type filmmaking-direction.
- If we want to search anything in a particular site, then we enter the text from in the text in the search box of that website. If search box is not available then here is the solution. If we want to search editing in http:// filmmakers.com/, then we need to enter “editing”site: www. filmmakers.com.
- We can search a particular file by using the file type: option. For example to find PowerPoint presentation in filmmaking then, we need to type “film-making”filetype: ppt.
- If we want to search one or the other thing, then we should insert an or in between. Example film making or production.
- Search box is not only used to search information but also gives the result of arithmetic calculations. Example (5*9) +sqrt (10) = then we get the result.
- In order to find the meaning of a word, we should use define keyword. Example we should type define: software to know the meaning of it.
- To know the time of a particular country, we use time keyword. For example to know the time in los angels we need to type, time los angels.
- Unit conversion can be done by using in keyword. Example: kg in pound, acre in square feet, etc. in can be used for currency conversion also. Example USD in INR.
- We can know the weather report of any country by using weather keyword. Example: weather London.
