How to edit and resize photos using faststone photo resize? | Photo editing in a different way
It is not necessary to install Photoshop software or any other software in order to edit the photos or resize them. It is sufficient to install faststone photo resizer.
What to do?
First we should install exe file and next open the shortcut created by it on the desktop. The photo resizer will open in two parts and select the source folder in the left side box. By selecting the required folder the photos are opened. Select the photos to be resized and click on add button to insert them in right side box. Use advanced options and check the command button resize, crop, canvas along with color and depth to change them accordingly. To change the size, enter the new height and new width. By clicking on the output format in output folder, the selected photos are changed and saved into the output folder. We can see the converting process in the form of table.
Editing:
Along with resizing we can also edit the photos. By selecting edit option in adjustment tube in advanced option, we can edit. We can also select gray scale and sepia effects. We can see the preview by clicking design and preview button. To insert text and borders, we need to select the text tube and border tube respectively. We can set different type of borders by checking the apply border effects button. With the help of watermark, we can insert any logo on the photo. We can rename the photo at a time by selecting the rename option in the right side box.
