How do birds sleep on the trees without falling down? | A nifty tendon arrangement in the legs helps them

A nifty tendon arrangement in the legsThe birds have a nifty tendon arrangement in the legs and paws that does not let the bird fall off the tree when they are sleeping.  As soon as the birds sit on the tree its toes automatically catch the branch with their toes.  When the bird wants to fly, they relax their legs and the nerves are also relaxed.  Most of the birds use nests to lay eggs.  Birds which sleep in the nests are very rare.
