Why there is a Hole on the Lid of Teapot?

Vessel which is used for pouring tea is called as teapot and people add tea powder and water in it to prepare tea. If there is no hole on the teapot lid, the heat of the water in the teapot can’t escape and the steam will cool down slowly. When the steam gets cooled, zero gravity space is formed inside the teapot. The atmospheric pressure inside the teapot will be more and it will pull the lid inside. In this situation, it will be difficult to take the lid and the tea inside the teapot can’t be poured into the teacup. If there is a hole on the lid, then the air outside the teapot enters inside. This will decrease the empty space inside the teapot and the atmospheric pressure inside and outside the teapot will be balanced. It will be easy to take the lid and pour the tea into the teapot. This is also the reason for making a hole on the lid when it is not coming.
