Now a day not only in metro cities but in small towns’ also construction of houses is going on large scale. The biology conservation of India feels that pollution can be prevented in early stages of construction if the ECBC (energy conservation building code) is implemented for new constructions in small towns also.
As per ECBC, new constructions must use CFL and LED lights only. Houses, hospitals and hotels must use water heaters that work with solar energy. Every house should have a facility to make the wet dust to fertilizers. There should be facilities for collecting the rain water. The municipal corporation will give permit only to these types of construction. If these rules are implemented, this would surely help the environment.
