Where is the Smallest Chameleon in the World Found?

Smallest ChameleonPeople know that chameleon is the animal which changes its color according to the surroundings and it escapes from the enemies. Smallest chameleon was found in the Madagascar forests recently and it was captured in the camera of Burred Lucas. This chameleon is very small and it is of the length of the nail on the human fingers. It is very difficult to recognize this chameleon and Lucas found it in the Amber Mountain Park. Lucas had captured the tiny chameleon in the camera when it was at the bottom of the tree but it did not change the colors as the big chameleon. It just acted as if it was dead. The specialty of this smallest chameleon is that its tongue is larger than its body. It will eat the insects with its tongue and this smallest chameleon is not the baby and it is the elder. Why We See Foam on the Tides?

Why We See Foam on the Tides?

Foam on the Tides

Foam on the Tides

Everyone likes the sky and blue colored sea. People who see the tides in the sea from the seashore will be very happy. We observe that tides will change into foam when they reach the seashore. There are two reasons for the tides to change into foam. First reason is that the tides will break and the air enters into it. Tides travel at more speeds at more heights and there is a difference in the movement of tides. Speed of the water is reduced due to the fight between the layers of water and this reduces the speed. Fight will be less when there is less height and it is more at more heights. So, when the tide is reaching the seashore, the speed of the water which touched the seashore will be reduced. When the water on the top flows with more speed than the water below, it reaches more distance than the previous tide. Air gets stuck during this process and the air changes into bubbles. As these bubbles shine, we can see the tides in white color.

Why Do We Feel the Thirst?

Why Do We Feel the Thirst?

Thirst

Thirst

People think that they feel the thirst when their throat gets dried or when the saliva in the mouth is not produced to the required amount. In the normal conditions, the amount of water and minerals in the blood will be equal. When the amount of water in the blood gets reduced, brain will send the instructions to the throat that water is required. For this reason, people feel the thirst. At some times, we feel the thirst even if we are having required amount of water in the blood. Reason for this is thirst feeling is that people eat more salt contained foods and this will create imbalance in the amount of water and minerals in the body.  As a result, brain sends the instructions to the throat and people feel the thirst.

This name was given to the telescope which was invented by Galileo in 1611. So, telescope word is in use from that day.  Galileo had used the ‘Perspicillum’ word for telescope.

What Is Thermal Depolymerization?

What Is Thermal Depolymerization?

Scientists are searching many methods to recycle the waste as well as reducing the usage of    fossil fuels. One of the methods is Thermal Depolymeaation. Depolymerization is the process in which the plastic waste and other waste material is changed into oils. Most of the materials which are being decomposed from thousands of years are changing into fossil fuels. Thermal deploymerization also follows the same principle for converting the waste material into crude oils. Fossils fuels take thousands of years for their formation but the thermal depolymerization is made faster. There are many energy problems for implementing the Thermal depolymerization and it would be possible when these problems are overcome by the scientists. It is very useful for environment.

Hum of Taos

There is a place called Taos in America and people can hear very small frequency hum sound suddenly. This sound is not heard by everyone but only few of them. These people will feel uncomfortable after listening to the sound for some time and they complain the symptoms like headache, giddiness, sleeplessness etc. Most of the people left this place and migrated to another place due to this sound. No one knows the origin of the sound and reason for the sound. Three decades have completed but no one could know the reason. It had remained as mystery for everyone. This sound was first recognized in 1977 and it resembles the sound of diesel engine which is moving far away. The sound is heard between the intervals and people who are able to hear the sound were shocked when others could not hear it. When they consulted a doctor, they came to know that there was no problem in their hearing abilities. All the people who suffered from this problem started writing letters to the popular news paper. When the news paper received more than 800 letters with the same problem, it had published the issue.

Few people had asked to government to help prevent the sound and it had sent some researchers to the place. They had tested the place with sensitive sound devices. It was surprised to see that the devices recorded only 30 to 80 hertz of sound and there were no recordings in few areas. They could not know the reason for sound and so, many discussions and conclusions came into lime light.  Few people said that this is the result of the signals which are sent to the earth by Aliens. They also said that people are able to hear this sound due to some skin diseases but they could not prove it. There are people who are suffering from the sound in Taos till present day.

Why Do We Get Sweat?

Why Do We Get Sweat?

Sweat

Sweat

Body of the humans will function properly at 98.6o F. When there is change in the temperature, hypothalamus in the brain will recognize the changes and it will instruct to release sweat. Then sweat will be released outside the body through the sweating glands on the skin. There will be more water and less amounts of ammonia, urea, other chemicals and sugars in the sweat. When the sweat is released outside the body through the sweating glands, it will evaporate when air is blown. Then the body cools and sweat helps the body to cool in this way. We should drink more water when more sweat is released from the body when we play or run. People should provide enough water for the body when the sweat is released. There are chances of deficiency of water when proper amounts of water are not given to the body.

In the 1950- 60 years, plantation of the ingredients was very less and Swaminathan was person who developed the seeds which give more products. Swaminathan was born on August 25th, 1925 in Tamil Nadu. He was fond of science subject from the childhood and so he continued his higher education in the science field. Food production was increased more due to research done by him and he also worked in many higher positions. He worked as the advisor for Indian Agriculture department and he also worked as director for the Indian agriculture research institute. He introduced the good quality wheat which gives more production in India. He also played a vital role in developing the plants like potatoes and other vegetables to give more production. Indian agriculture had developed a lot and this is the result of Swaminathan research. This is called as green revolution and Swaminathan was called as Father of Green Revolution.

How Much Sunlight do Amazon Rainforest Get?

How Much Sunlight do Amazon Rainforest Get?

Amazon Rainforest

Amazon Rainforest

There are many equatorial forests which are extended from the equator and they are providing shelter for many animals and living things. For example, there are more than ten lakhs of living things like animals and insects in the Amazon forests. There are more than 5 lakh varieties of spiders and insects in these forests. More than two lakh varieties of fishes are in the river which flows in the Amazon forest. Forests which are providing the shelter for many animals are thick normally. Four layers can be recognized in the Amazon forests from the top of the tree to the land in the bottom. Layer which is in the top is above 200 feet from the land and this layer is formed with the branches of the trees which are having more than 16 feet of trunks. Many birds will live on the trees in this layer. The second layer is below this layer and this is also formed with the branches of the trees and shrubs. Living things other than the trees will live this later and nearly 70 – 90% of the living things live in this layer. This layer is the shelter for monkeys, parasites and other animals. Amount of Sunlight which falls in the forest reaches the second layer and this reaches only from 2% – 15%. Layer which is below all the layers gets less than 2% of the sunlight. So the forests will be darker in the day also.
