Why animals can not talk? | Animal vocal chords are different than humans

AnimalsWhy can’t animals talk?  There are some reasons why the animals cannot talk.  The construction of the human throat helps them to talk. This type of construction is not there in animals.  Though many animals have tongues they could only convert the waves coming out of the throat in to sounds. Animals do not have a complicated Larynx like human beings.  They cannot speak but do say a lot with their body motions.  Though parrots seem like talking they can only mimic the sounds.  They do not understand the meaning of the words.

Dogs and cats make sounds when they are hungry.  While playing dolphins talk to the other dolphins in the form of sounds.  Honey bees inform the other honey bees about the availability of the food through body movements.  Cuttle fish could talk to four friends at a time by changing its body postures in 21 different ways.
