We throw the water bottles after using them but a man named David D Rothschild used to store them. After collecting more than 12,000 bottles, he had prepared a big boat with them. The size of the boat is 60 feet and he started his journey on the boat. The name of the boat is plastiki and he did this journey to bring awareness in the people about the water pollution due to the plastic. There are other three members who also started this journey and it had been three months when they started from California. They started their journey in the pacific ocean and they have traveled up to 12,500 kilometers by now.
They will soon reach the Sydney in Australia and they are exploiting the people about plastic materials, extinction of the animals and global warming. They have got the idea of making the boat with plastic bottles from the pomegranate fruit as the seeds in it will be strong when all the seeds in it are placed together. In the same way they have placed the plastic bottles and arranged them as the tiles. They have prepared this boat in three years and their journey will be through the great garbage patch in the pacific region. They have arranged the food in the boat and they are giving the information about the journey through internet. They have also opened a website with the name plastiki.
